1979 Phase “Midnight Madness” LP/ QCA Red Mark Original Private Press/ Progressive Fusion, Heavy Jazz Rock
Cover VG to VG+ seam split forming at bottom , rest is solid
Vinyl EX only some fine superficial none feelable marks seen in brightest light and some light fogging marks from pressing or age in sleeve. Antistatic inner and original brown inner included, lightly cleaned with water sounded great.
Absolute smoker of a Jazz rock lp with somewhat of a soft machine inspired free prog feel. That’s not to say it’s all free it’s very intentional and complex with some room for improvisation in passages and solos , really deep and progressive with a spacey appeal. Fuzz guitar shreds and workouts on synth bass and drums , a timeless and rare classic underground lp hard to find. Of course I have this one too and it’s a full recommendation.
